Vacation and Wrapping Up in June

Later on this month, I will going on vacation for a week. Saturday and Sunday will not let me have internet access then. So, I am going to try something while I’m vacation. I will write the last two chapter of City Lounge: Paris volume three in a Word document and see if I can set the post on WordPress to post in the future. I will need to get the songs I need for them first. Plus, I will try to get one day online to make my post. Luckily, I won’t have that much to post that week. Just a couple of chapters and a preview. I might get to do some editing on Steel Prison while I’m there too. Plus, some other shorts I want to publish too.

Speaking of which here is a list of things that I am going to wrap up this month:

  • Gentleman’s Club (Volume Twenty-Four)
  • Two volumes of Dreamland
  • Reposting last season’s Tengoku.Chikyu.Jigoku
  • A couple of other previews
  • Volume Three of City Lounge: Paris
  • Season eight of Earth Child

Plus, I get to start season seven of my Wasteland Project on the last Monday of this month. I can’t wait. Until then…

Counting Down and Planning

May is coming to an end in a few days. Within two weeks, it will be June. That means new projects are coming. I can’t wait to start on season seven of my Wasteland Project. The Earth Child season finale will be coming up on the seventh. Volume three of City Lounge: Paris will wrap up next month too. But don’t worry, I’ll start volume three of City Lounge: Berlin. Writing isn’t the only thing I am looking forward to either.

I will get to finish the live action version of Erased on Netflix. (I only have two episodes left.) Then, I’m going to watch From This Corner of the World next. Then, it’s off to Hulu to watch some episodes of Moone Boy. Before that, I will be done with season one of Some Girls. So much stuff to watch, including the 2009 movie, Moon.

On top of that, I will vacation in June at some point. Can you believe that we’re about halfway through 2018? Time keeps running away from us. I’m just happy to be getting some stuff done.

Oh and Photobucket freed all of the pictures. They are under new management now. I guess they realized that they screwed up with charged $399 for embedding pictures and now they are trying to woo them back. That leaves me with one thing: Should I just leave all of the pictures on my website I didn’t convert to Imgur or should I keep moving them to Imgur like I have been doing since last year? Either way, I still have to fix the music and other small glitches on my site. Oh boy, it’s going to take me a while. I was insane in my younger years with the posting, but it’s well worth it. While I ponder this dilemma, you can…

City Lounge: Paris (Book Three, Chapter Thirteen: Sweet Shop Downtown)

Chapter Thirteen: Sweet Shop Downtown:

“We have one more place to go,” Simone told me after dinner.

“And where would that be?” I asked. She turned to me with a smile on her face.

“Mama’s favorite sweet shop down here,” my love said. “Jean-Paul Hévin!”

“Jean… what?” I asked. My girl giggled.

“Come along and you will see,” she said. I smiled and shrugged.

“Okay,” I said. When I first looked at Jean-Paul Hévin, my jaw dropped. I thought I would die from a diabetic coma just by looking at everything they had on display. Chocolates, bars, macarons, and pastries. I blinked and rubbed my eyes. More

City Lounge: Paris (Book Three, Chapter Twelve: Simple Dinner in Paris)

Chapter Twelve: Simple Dinner in Paris:

Simone led us into the downtown part of Paris. I’ve seen this place before, but it never fails to surprise me.

“This never gets old,” I said. I pulled Simone close by the waist. “Lead the way.” I whispered above her head. My girl giggled as we walked down the street. We ended up at a restaurant called Il était Un Square.

“What do you think?” she asked. I blinked at first.

“Isn’t this a bit too…?” I began to ask.

“What?” she asked. I shook my head.

“No, it’s fine,” I said. Simone led me inside. The red paint on the walls made me feel a bit underdressed. My love didn’t seem to mind. I turned to her. More

City Lounge: Paris (Book Three, Chapter Eleven: Walking Around in Paris… Again)

Chapter Eleven: Walking Around in Paris… Again:

Simone looked up at me. “Do you want to do more shopping or go get dinner?”

I shrugged. “Depends on you.”

“Sometimes, I would like you to lead the way,” my love says. I would love to, my dear. But, you have all of the power. I just happily follow you wherever you go. Simone snuggled up to me in the rain lightening up.

“I feel like walking around some more,” she said. I nodded a little bit.

“Sounds good to me,” I said. Simone smiled and giggled. Good thing that the rain is starting to stop. Paris still looks good in this weather. Texas looked so dull in the rain. I felt Simone’s head against my shoulder. More

City Lounge: Paris (Book Three, Chapter Ten: Strange Wine Shop)

Chapter Ten: Strange Wine Shop:

Simone led me down to this building made of wood. This building… Where the hell did it come from? I looked around at the other buildings on the street. Everything else looked new and modern. But this building…

“Why is it made of wood?” I asked.

“Owner’s choice,” Simone said.

“Why?” I asked.

“Because he wanted it that way,” she said. My girl walked up to the glass doors. I couldn’t take my eyes off of this shop. Wooden building. Purple lighting. Hearts on the window. Dolls hanging from the edge of the roof. Dead looking flowers in the front. Is this really a wine shop? It looks so tiny. More

City Lounge: Paris (Book Three, Chapter Nine: Walking in the Rain)

Chapter Nine: Walking in the Rain:

The rain really came down. I grabbed onto Simone as she led the way. I really wished that I could’ve brought my umbrella with me. My girl and I could cuddle together underneath it in this rain. My cheeks turned red as I pictured it.

“Do you want dinner first or shopping?” Simone asked. I looked down with a puzzled look on my face.

“Hm?” I asked.

“Do you want to eat first or go shopping more?” she asked. I smiled and shook my head.

“Can we keep walking for now?” I asked. She smiled and tapped me on the nose. More

City Lounge: Paris (Book Three, Chapter Eight: Strange Beauty)

Chapter Eight: Strange Beauty:

I still can’t figure Simone out at times. We’ve been dating for four months now. Somehow, she still manages to surprise me. I looked at a vintage movie poster on the wall of the record store. The woman looking all sensual in the splashes of bright pink, orange, and yellow reminded me of Simone in way. Speaking of which, I felt someone tapping me on the shoulder. I glanced out behind me from the corner of me. Simone stood, smiling.

“Want to go upstairs?” she asked. I turned around with my eyebrow raised.

“Upstairs?” I asked. “There is an upstairs?” Simone giggled and took me by the hand. Okay, my sexy witch. Where are you taking me now? More

Last Day of Camp

I’m on the last story in the collection. I am up to 48,989 words. I will be finished by today. May will bring new projects into the works. I will work on a short story that I will post on the nineteenth. There will be other short stories and the usual annual projects for May.

It will be nice to not have so much to work with. May brings me closer to work on the Wasteland Project again and I get to work on new things in May. I am about to try and get caught up on my Netflix list. Maybe Hulu too. I could have Patient X beta read and try to go back to editing Steel Prison again. So much to do in thirty-one days. Where do I even start? I’ll sort it out. I might even finish some things in May. I will have to see. I do know if I will do camp in July because I don’t know what to write. Oh and we will go back to Paris in the City Lounge in May. Look forward to all of that. For now…

Status Report: Camp is Winding Down

There are seven days left in camp. The Patient X story keeps getting longer, but I will try to wrap it up by tomorrow or Wednesday. Then, I will try to finish those last two stories in the collection to meet my 50,000 word count. Suburban Island will end in two days. I got scouted for a publishing collection. I think I have the story in mind that I want to publish. I will look over it when I finish Patient X.

Next month, I am working on a short story related to the Wasteland project. I will post it on Inkitt on May 19th. Plus, there are some other stories to finish. I am counting down to June so that I can work on season seven on of the Wasteland Project. Right now, I will see how much I get done from the rest of the week because I have jury duty.  (Fun, right?) I am confident about finishing Patient X and Suburban Island this week and on time. For now…
