Rant Corner #5

I wanted to say this for a long time. In fact, I want to do this every year.

What is with Christmas decorations coming earlier every year? It’s like right after (or before) Halloween we start seeing Christmas decor and hearing Christmas music on the radio.

Stop it!

It’s not even Thanksgiving yet! Can we at least get through Thanksgiving first? Don’t get me started on the people complaining about “Happy Holidays”, Starbucks cups, and the fricken’ “War on Christmas”! CUT IT OUT! We should be more worried about the War on Thanksgiving! Since when has Thanksgiving taken a seat? When I was growing up, the Christmas spirit didn’t start until the day after Thanksgiving! Can we go back that?

Enough with the premature Christmas spirit! Let us enjoy Thanksgiving first! Please?

Happy Holidays 2015!

Merry Christmas everyone! Did you guys get nice gifts? I got a nice few myself this year. I got myself some jewelry, sweets, and Victoria’s Secret. (Yeah, I am spoiled like that.)

Anyway, six more days until 2015 is over. I can’t believe it myself. There is still so much for me to do. What exactly can I squeeze in for the next six days? I’m sure that I can make it work.

I think I have done a good job with converting this blog from a fun one to a professional for the pen name, Noizchild Johnson. Okay, so it does need a little work, but I can pull it off. For 2016, I will get a professional editor and promote myself more often. Those are my two main goals. (That and getting myself a full-time job to help finance the first two goals and move out.)

Since this will be the last Friday of 2015, I wish you all a happy 2016!

Delayed Again *Sigh*

I didn’t get to make a post last night because I was Christmas shopping and visiting my great-grandmother. Anyway, I am in a downpour. It’s not snow, but the ground will be damp enough for the snow to stick. It’s still too warm! I want to be cold in the winter! I don’t live in the Southern Hemisphere!

Anyway, my shopping is done. (Yay!) Too bad there isn’t much to watch on TV these days. (Then again, who’s really watching TV around Christmastime?)

I guess I will talk about my goals for 2016 next week as it will be the last Monday of 2015. Why are good beta readers so hard to find?  Seriously, I just want to get some stories finished and up. (They’ve been in limbo for too long, you know what I mean?) I guess I’ll keep fishing.

I don’t have much else to say other than I can’t wait for Christmas. The gifts, sweets, reactions to gifts, food, Christmas lights, etc.
