Itching to Play Sims Again

I haven’t been playing much Sims 4 lately due to going overtime with my writing. Last week was the worst. I would just run out of time. I don’t know what happened. I would have to push myself to being up until three in the morning. I do not like this. I only got to play my game on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe this week will be different.

So far, I have almost all of my work done. Tomorrow will probably be a short day. I am still watching Asian horror films and reviewing them. I’ll be done with a story tomorrow. And then I will be done with another story in ten days. Wish me luck.  Meanwhile, you can…

Autumn is Here

Summer is officially over. Autumn is now here. Time for the pumpkins, Halloween, all things horror, Thanksgiving, and food to rain down upon us. Put away your summer clothes and get out your hoodies. I will get out my winter stuff in a few weeks. I also have some things to work on as well.

October will be the time I let loose with the horror on my Wasteland Project. Plus, I will be doing some romantic fluff pieces as well. I have some plans for Halloween. Again, I will be doing Asian Horror month. Look forward to that. LGBT Scream is about to wrap up on Sunday. Brace yourselves for an active fall. For now…

Moving to New Stage in the Game

I have decided to go a more traditional route with my publishing. I have been self-publishing with ebooks. But, now I want to go the traditional way of publishing with Steel Prison. I’ve had people edit it many times, including my mom. I sent it through Nano in 2009. The current of the manuscript count is 48,827 words and 109 pages long. I feel that it could be a bit longer. What I am looking for is a professional developmental editor. I have started my search and made a list comparing prices and their selling comments. In the past, I have used beta readers. But since this is going the traditional way, I decided to step it up and go professional. So far, I contacted an editor I follow on Google+, five editors on Linkin, and one of the writers from a writer chatroom that I frequent gave me a link to a bunch of editors. I haven’t checked the website yet, but I will do it tomorrow. I know that professional editing is not cheap and I don’t have that kind of money at the moment. So, I will make comparisons and come down to the most reasonable price that I can try and scrape together.

I also want to look for a literary agent as well. Ideally, I want to find one before Christmas. I have a website to start my search. I will start to look on Independence Day. Wish me luck, everyone. While I look for an editor and an agent, you can…

Vacation and Wrapping Up in June

Later on this month, I will going on vacation for a week. Saturday and Sunday will not let me have internet access then. So, I am going to try something while I’m vacation. I will write the last two chapter of City Lounge: Paris volume three in a Word document and see if I can set the post on WordPress to post in the future. I will need to get the songs I need for them first. Plus, I will try to get one day online to make my post. Luckily, I won’t have that much to post that week. Just a couple of chapters and a preview. I might get to do some editing on Steel Prison while I’m there too. Plus, some other shorts I want to publish too.

Speaking of which here is a list of things that I am going to wrap up this month:

  • Gentleman’s Club (Volume Twenty-Four)
  • Two volumes of Dreamland
  • Reposting last season’s Tengoku.Chikyu.Jigoku
  • A couple of other previews
  • Volume Three of City Lounge: Paris
  • Season eight of Earth Child

Plus, I get to start season seven of my Wasteland Project on the last Monday of this month. I can’t wait. Until then…

Counting Down and Planning

May is coming to an end in a few days. Within two weeks, it will be June. That means new projects are coming. I can’t wait to start on season seven of my Wasteland Project. The Earth Child season finale will be coming up on the seventh. Volume three of City Lounge: Paris will wrap up next month too. But don’t worry, I’ll start volume three of City Lounge: Berlin. Writing isn’t the only thing I am looking forward to either.

I will get to finish the live action version of Erased on Netflix. (I only have two episodes left.) Then, I’m going to watch From This Corner of the World next. Then, it’s off to Hulu to watch some episodes of Moone Boy. Before that, I will be done with season one of Some Girls. So much stuff to watch, including the 2009 movie, Moon.

On top of that, I will vacation in June at some point. Can you believe that we’re about halfway through 2018? Time keeps running away from us. I’m just happy to be getting some stuff done.

Oh and Photobucket freed all of the pictures. They are under new management now. I guess they realized that they screwed up with charged $399 for embedding pictures and now they are trying to woo them back. That leaves me with one thing: Should I just leave all of the pictures on my website I didn’t convert to Imgur or should I keep moving them to Imgur like I have been doing since last year? Either way, I still have to fix the music and other small glitches on my site. Oh boy, it’s going to take me a while. I was insane in my younger years with the posting, but it’s well worth it. While I ponder this dilemma, you can…

Last Day of Camp

I’m on the last story in the collection. I am up to 48,989 words. I will be finished by today. May will bring new projects into the works. I will work on a short story that I will post on the nineteenth. There will be other short stories and the usual annual projects for May.

It will be nice to not have so much to work with. May brings me closer to work on the Wasteland Project again and I get to work on new things in May. I am about to try and get caught up on my Netflix list. Maybe Hulu too. I could have Patient X beta read and try to go back to editing Steel Prison again. So much to do in thirty-one days. Where do I even start? I’ll sort it out. I might even finish some things in May. I will have to see. I do know if I will do camp in July because I don’t know what to write. Oh and we will go back to Paris in the City Lounge in May. Look forward to all of that. For now…

Status Report: Camp is Winding Down

There are seven days left in camp. The Patient X story keeps getting longer, but I will try to wrap it up by tomorrow or Wednesday. Then, I will try to finish those last two stories in the collection to meet my 50,000 word count. Suburban Island will end in two days. I got scouted for a publishing collection. I think I have the story in mind that I want to publish. I will look over it when I finish Patient X.

Next month, I am working on a short story related to the Wasteland project. I will post it on Inkitt on May 19th. Plus, there are some other stories to finish. I am counting down to June so that I can work on season seven on of the Wasteland Project. Right now, I will see how much I get done from the rest of the week because I have jury duty.  (Fun, right?) I am confident about finishing Patient X and Suburban Island this week and on time. For now…

What Do I Want to Say?

Work’s been good.

I’ve had a productive weekend because of it.

I’ve been burning through many podcasts.

I just changed my 365 subscription for a cheaper version.

I am done with this week’s chapter of Suburban Island.

I can’t wait to post chapter three of Mad World.

I don’t have much to say tonight.

I am just waiting for March to be over,

And then I can go onto new projects

And wrap up Suburban Island.

And make announcements for the seventh season of the Wasteland Project.

<Sigh>

But for now…

I Think I Will Try Camp This Year

I have done Nanowrimo every year since 2009. I have never done the Camp version, though. Mainly because, I never know when it is. This year, I think I will try it. I know that it begins in April. I have an idea to write short horror stories for thirty days. I want to see if I can write condensed stories with one setting and one or two characters. I have a couple of plots in my head already. Wish me luck.

Speaking of Nanowrimo, I have plans for that too. All I can say is that it will labeled “What Fifty Shades of Grey is Supposed to Be”. I keep coming up with so many projects, but I can handle it. While I do that, you can…

City Lounge: New York (Book Two, Chapter Twelve: Summer in the Bronx)

Chapter Twelve: Summer in the Bronx:

Carmen stuffed her iPod into her jeans pocket. The weather sound that it would be another hot day in the Bronx. How many days was that now? Three? Four? Five? She was surprised that the whole block wasn’t on fire by now. Whatever. Carmen put her earbuds into her ears and headed out the door.

“I’ll be back soon!” she shouted.

“Okay!” her mother said from the kitchen. Carmen pulled out her iPod and hit play. Where did she feel like going today? The neighborhood looked the same as it did yesterday. Carmen decided to go right.

“Heading out today?” a old woman in her lawnchair on the sidewalk asked. The DJ took out her earbud. More
