Happy 2018 Everyone!

Welcome to 2018, my darlings! May this year be better than the last one.

Good news, chapter three of Steel Prison has been edited! I am hoping for snow this week. I was told that I was going to get some this week. My first day into the new year’s been pretty good. Got some writing done. Work’s been picking and I did some jobs on the first day. I will do more jobs tomorrow. I will get paid next week too.

What shall we be looking forward to? Well, I will try to get in editing of chapter four of Steel Prison. I still intend on getting that published some time this year. Not just for the ebook either, I intend to do hardcover and maybe send it to a publisher. I will still be fixing  my site to get rid of the Photobucket pictures. Some things will be finished. I am going to start new project to tide me over for waiting to start the next season of my Wasteland Project. (The waiting is going to suck like always.) I will work on a one-shot Durarara omake to go with the Wonderland series. I might do another one shot pilot for the Wasteland Project. For now on that one, I just have bits and pieces. I will try to get a full-time job while I’m at it.

That is so much to promise in one day, but it is doable for me. Also, these aren’t New Year’s Resolutions. I never make those. But, I am determined to make this year better than last year. Wish me luck. While you’re at it…

It’s Time to Wrap Up Things

Ever look at piece of work and go, “Yeah, it’s time to wrap you up.” I am going to end a draft that I have been working on since 2009. I think I will finish it on Wednesday. I will have see how I feel.

Things have been going to slow at my job. I’m hoping that it picks up again. I’m still fixing the pictures on my site. I need to fix the pictures in this blog too. The progress is moving along, however. I am just about to finish fixing up the main pages on the main site. I still have to work on the smaller sections, but I know I can do it. Edits for Steel Prison is coming along nicely and I think I like Taylor Swift’s new song. (I don’t really care about her, but the song’s good in a way. I’m using it to write a chapter for my story, Devil’s Scandal, tomorrow.) I can’t wait to write more for my Wasteland 2011 project this week. I get to start on the D.Gray-Man section this Thursday.

That’s about it for now, I think. You will see more of the City Lounge: London soon next month. For now…

Blogging and Book Re-Release

So last week, I merged my blog from Blogger to this blog. One problem: the tags on Blogger ended up being categories on here. So the next day, I had the “fun” task of separating the categories and tags. Let me tell you something: it sucked! So time-consuming, but I got it done. Now, I have to go through and organize the categories again, edit and tag the posts that came from Blogger, and delete duplicate posts. This isn’t going to be fun, but I have to do it to look professional.

Meanwhile, I will be re-formatting Sins of Women tonight. I don’t know when I will re-release it yet. After this, I will only have Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked left to re-format and re-released. Tomorrow, I will attempt to do the blog stuff and happily start on the Durarara section of my Wasteland Project. Plus, I will watch said anime on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when I write each halo. (I call the chapters for that section “halos”.) So much to do, but I can manage it. While you wait, you can…

Goodbye Livejournal and Dreamwidth

I have done it. I have bid farewell to Livejournal and Dreamwidth. I am still debating whether to delete them or not. I have decided to merge this blog with my WordPress one. I don’t know when I will do it, but someone gave me the instructions on how to do it. I am will let you know when I will be moving.

The Weekender will be re-released soon. I have a new job now. I will just need to find a full-time job. I can’t wait for August to come so that I can work on the Durarara section of my Wasteland Project. I will let you know when I move and delete my Livejournal and Dreamwidth. Until then…

Focus Came Back, but Now I Feel Lazy

Well, I am getting back on task at least. But now, I have another little problem with my writing. I feel lazy– not just with writing, but it my need for escape. I am still looking for a job and I am still on so much inspiration and ideas for writing. However, this week I will attempt to break my own runt.

I am still looking for a job again. I created a profile on Linkedin to help increase my chances. (I’m already looking on Indeed.com and Talent Zoo.)  Hopefully, I will get something to get me moving again. I enjoyed having a job in the short time that I had one. Plus with more money, I could get better replacements for Pinky and proper editor. Let’s hope I can do that really soon.

As for writing, I will try to act on some ideas and look for new inspiration for my work. Yesterday, I discovered a YouTube channel called Creepy Plays. Sweet! I now have something to work with just in time for the Wasteland Project starting next Monday. Maybe this week, I will look through my folders of inspirations I have on Chrome. I also have my music on Audiosplitter. (I just learned that there are more albums in the City Lounge series. This should be delightful to make a new playlist or two. My original City Lounge playlist was too big and it was a pain to arrange it due to the size. Plus, there is another playlist that I have to fix up on Audiosplitter.)

In any case, wish me luck on my “quest” and…

I was Off-Focus Last Week

Last week, I could not focus on my writing. I have no idea what happened. I either found myself bored with the draft or I was too busy. I had two birthdays to celebrate last week. (My grandfather and my mother’s). My work wasn’t as great as I wanted it to be. Somehow, the distractions will probably carry over into this week too if I am not careful. Still, I will try to stay on task and get them done on time. More

I am Just about There

I got something finished today. It’s not my Fullmetal Alchemist fic, but it’s just about as old. It’s just a dumb little comic I had been sitting on for a long time. I couldn’t decide how long I wanted to make it at first. Initially, I wanted to make it twenty-six chapters long. Then I realized I wouldn’t have enough ideas to make that happen. (My plot bunny farm is already overflowing. I need to take out those little creatures first before I could come up with things.) I was stuck between thirteen chapters and twenty. Finally, someone suggested that I made it thirteen and here we are. I already had the first twelve down. After a bit of a touch-up on the section that it on and actually writing out the chapter, I am done with that little comic!

I will finish Anaconda on Wednesday. You can bank on that. It will be finished at last! I already picking out the music for the second to last chapter! I am going to finish it this week! Next, I will resume another old series that I have been sitting for quite some time now. Like I said, I need to clean out the plot bunny farm this year. My task list is helping me do that.

As for my published work, today I am cleaning up my bio for Canojo Koi. Next, I will fix the format for Sleeper on Wednesday. Today and Wednesday will be cleaning up day. I’m already counting down to it. However, I am still looking for a full-time job. At least now I know what I am looking for. I just need to apply and hopefully I will get two interviews with the same employer. The last time I had an interview, it went well, but they are still holding my resume in case they have something open for me.

Other than that, I will look for a beta reader for my Hetalia fanfics just to get them cleaned up just in time for the Wasteland Project’s new season coming up on June 27th. I hope that I can catch somebody. I am tired of reading typos and cursing myself for it. I think I will wrap up now. Have a good week everyone.

The End is Coming, Dave

This month, I will finish my Fullmetal Alchemist fanfic, Anaconda. I will begin the end tomorrow. I have spent too long working on this. After that, I will work on an original series that I have put off for too long.

Even so, I am in need of something new to write. This is what happens when you have so many ideas screaming, “Write me out!” The plot bunny farm is overflowing again. Besides getting out ideas that I have been sitting on, I still need a full-time job. In other news, the new season of D.Gray-Man is starting June 25th in Japan. Just in time for me to begin season five of my Wasteland 2011 project. (Speaking of which, I promise I will get back to the Durarara anime, both seasons when I resume the project. Scout’s honor!) Either way, wish me luck and…

I am a Little Stuck

I feel like I am stuck to a slight rut. I think that I need something new to write about, but I need to break my laziness first. I have resumed another anime that I have stalled on called Gacthaman. It’s pretty entertaining. It has its moments that say, “Pick on me!” but it’s better than Megaman at least. (That show made me want to face palm, but I survived it.) I am thinking about starting Detroit Metal City this week. I have heard nothing but good things about it. I am kind of stalling with Durarara x2 Ketsu because I don’t want it to end. Maybe I will watch Durarara from the beginning in August when I start working on Deep Blue Wonderland as part of my Wasteland 2011 project.

I also want to improve on my erotica writing by reading some good smut. (Fifty Shades of Garbage does not count!)  So if anyone knows of some good erotica, fiction or non-fiction, hit me up in the comment section. Right now…
