I Need Some Recomendations

I am feeling lazy again with my watching things. I did start Inside No. 9 last week and the first episode was quite interesting. I might go back to it when I’m not so lazy. Fixing the pictures on my site is going well. It’s still going to take me a long time to change those pictures from Photobucket to Imgur, but the Chrome extension, Fix Embedded Photobucket Images, just made it a little bit easier for me.

Meanwhile, I’m waiting for American Horror Story: Cult to start up in two weeks. In the meantime, I am looking for something new to latch onto to help break my laziness and get me back into the rhythm of watching my backlogs again. Anybody have any ideas? Comment below in the comment section. While you’re at it…

In Need of Something

I want something exciting. I could watch some of the stuff I loaded up on my Hulu list, but I have to beat my laziness first. I could resume my anime watching again, but I’ve too lazy from that too. I’m slowly burning through my podcasts. (I estimate that I will be finished with one of them by the end of this month.) I wish to read more, I’m too lazy. Sims 4 is starting to get boring, but I think I just need a new way to play it. I keep stalling with Durarara x2 with Netflix. I have been watching videos from Double Toasted, but that isn’t enough anymore. I did watch a video on Angry Joe’s channel today, but that’s about it. I did video the Batman and Robin Hilariousity video from Chris Stuckmann’s channel for a little bit, but then I went back to work. Last night, I listened to Lara Thompson read that god awful Harry Potter fic, My Immortal, and critique while I played Sims 4.

Maybe, I will just stuck up and get over my laziness and pick back up with Misfits. Wish me luck, but for now…

Not Much to Say

I couldn’t really think about more to write tonight. I have a couple of projects coming up. Work is going really well lately. My cable is gone, but I will get it back when I make enough money. I started watching Misfits and season two of Animals. Other than that, that’s about it. I didn’t really plan this week’s post out. Maybe next week will be better, but for now…

Not Much to Say Tonight

Right now, I don’t have really much to say. I have in glee from watching the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. (I LOVE Victoria’s Secret and I will not miss the annual fashion for anything! Sorry, Timeless, but I am not missing my VS Fashion Show!) I’m happy to say that The Weeknd get rid of… whatever that was on his head. The ladies were just as lovely as ever.

I don’t know what I am doing for 2017. I don’t really know what’s going on anymore. For now, I will sit back and see what happens next. I didn’t really think about what I was going to write this week in this blog. Yes, this is going to be a short post tonight. So, yeah. Good night all.

Five Years Already?

March 11, 2011, an earthquake and tsunami hit Japan. Shortly after that, the country suffered from a nuclear melt down. It has been a long time, but the country is recovering nicely. I am happy that my favorite country can bounce back from tragedy. I am confident that they will have a strong future for years to come.

I haven’t checked on how Distorted Lullaby is doing. I will promote it again in another group this evening. Bride in Black is edited and waiting to be re-published. I wonder what I will edit next after that. I might finally be able to replace Pinky’s keyboard. (Pinky is my laptop.) I also got hooked onto a new show on HBO called Animals. I don’t know what to think about it, but I have to keep watching to try and figure it out. I’m also getting out my summer clothes this weekend. Yes, I am still job-hunting. -.- But, I will keep trying. For now…

Aquarius– Week Two

The biggest flaw with Aquarius? We already know how the story ends. The question is how are we going to get there? Are they going to show Sharon Tate’s murder? Will the chase for Charlie Manson end in one season or are they going to drag it out on and on? How much are we going to stay on the real life story line here? We’ll just have to stick around and see.

Editing on my fanfic is going great. I just need to gather up music and put the playlists back together. (I still have to fix the rest of the blank players on my pages. Ugh! Wish me luck, friends.)

I promise to have better material next week. Oh yeah, I have lost four pounds last month. Yatta! Okay, I’m done now.

TV Grade

Show on Trial: Aquarius

Premise: Moulder chases Charlie Manson to friend an old flame’s daughter.

First Impression after the Pilot: It’s not bad. The show started off a bit slow, but gave red flags about Charlie Manson in the first minute of introducing him. (My mom was like, “Oh lord! We know how this is going to end!) The end of the first two episode make me want to stick around and re-watch the first them again. Plus, I’m going to have to go and look up some details about Manson and a couple of other things. The lighting of the show gives it a type of vintage feel as you are watching.

Verdict: I think it will work out. I’ll give it a couple more episodes before I say anything else.

Hope: They pick up the pace a little bit. The potential’s there in the show.

What I Look Forward to Watching This Summer

There are some good programs coming up this summer. I have a couple that I am looking out for myself:

Aquarius: (NBC) Set in the 60’s, basically, Mulder is chasing Charlie Manson. (For those who don’t know who Mulder is, got back and watch The X-Files to get that reference.) Airing: 5/28.

Heroes: I believe that NBC is trying to kiss up to fans for all of the shows that they canceled post 2007. In any case, I’m looking forward to see Heroes again. Some of the heroes won’t be back, but there will be new people and some faves. If only I knew when it was coming back…

Unforgettable: This one just shocked me this morning. Somebody tell me how a show can get canceled twice, (that’s right, this show was canceled twice from the same network), and then come back again on another network. Unforgettable is going from CBS to A&E. Either way, I have to check this out. Maybe, they will circle back to the mystery of who killed Carrie’s sister. That story line kind of disappeared during seasons two and three. It was as if they forgot all about it. There is no known date of when it will return at this time.

What shows about you looking forward to this summer?

Any Time Now…

I don’t have any movies that I watched this week. Sorry. The only thing left on my Netflix queue is Supernatural and I’m only on season six. (It. Never. Ends!)

However, I will be publishing another short story titled, The Perfect Doll, hopefully by this week or the next.  Also, I will check in on the edits for Sins of Women and try to get an editor/beta reader for the first volume of the light novel series, Hapless Cupid.

I have been watching this show on ABC on Thursday nights called, American Crime. It’s interesting enough to hold my attention to find out how Nathan was murdered and who really did it. I can’t stand Felicity Huffman’s character, though! She’s just a racist idiot bitch. I am hoping that something happens to her that makes her change bigoted ways. The show itself isn’t much, but it is interesting enough to see how it’s going play out.

In the mean time, enjoy this little poll.

Easter Allergies and Falling Behind

How was your Easter? Mine was a little dull if not for a slightly health problem that spanned into three days. It all started Sunday when my left hand was aching and I didn’t know why. By Monday, the pain spread to my right hand. By Tuesday, I was broken out and my lower lip had swollen up. Plus, the pain from my hands moved down to my feet. When the break-out spread on my body, I was taken to urgent care and prescribed medication. Turns out, I had a allergic reaction to something, but I still don’t know what it was.  I’m fine now, though.

Anyway, I watched some interesting movies this week. The I Inside turned out to be rather decent. I won’t spoil it in case you want to see it for yourselves. The Manchurian Candidate 2004 version was pretty good. (I still can’t believe that Denzel Washington is sixty years old. That man is old!) I saw Waking Life again on Easter. Unless you like philosophy and people just talking on and on about different topics, I would suggest that you would skip it. I liked Total Recall, the 1990 version. It’s a bit hokey, but hey, they were coming out of 80’s when they made this movie. Next up was The Machinist. It was pretty good too. Finally, I saw Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. Good, but bizarre movie. It makes want to go read the book. Today, I am going to watch Showgirls and K-Pax. I know Showgirls is crap, but don’t we all need stupid entertainment in our lives once in a while? Plus since HBO on demand is free for the weekend, I will binge on John Oliver and check out Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

I finally got a book on my Kindle. (Finally, something other apps and rented textbooks on my Kindle! Yay!) It’s titled, Japanese Erotica Collection by Harry Lime. I should be able to handle to break my laziness with reading. Though, I have been doing good with manga and another book called, Self-Editing for Fiction Writers. (In fact, I finished chapter four on Wednesday.) As for my editing, I have been falling behind on Six Days. Hopefully, I can get it done by Sunday. Plus, I will check on Sins of Women and try to find someone to look at volume of Hapless Cupid. I also got a big jar of kimichi to munch on. Yummy!

That’s it for now.
