Not Much Has Changed Since Last Week

Just as the title suggests, not much has changed. I am still working with two clients at the moment. Got the first draft of one article done. (I have to go back and add some things to the piece.) My Wasteland Project is going well. I don’t think I will be really finishing anything this month. Series-wise, at least. There might be a collection or two that will be finished this month. I will have to go back and check.

I started season three of Stranger Things yesterday. It looks good so far. I got some good laughs out if. I am intrigued to see where everything is going. Meanwhile, I need to get caught up on My Husband Won’t Fit. It’s decent but I am confused on why the MC doesn’t just go to the doctor with her problem with her husband. I mean, sure it’s a different culture, but going to the doctor wouldn’t hurt. Just saying.

Yesterday, I caught a frog in my house. He was as big as my hand. The frog just hopped across the floor and under some furniture. The little cutie went outside and I was made to wash my hands. My mom screamed and had me put him outside.

I don’t have much to report this week. Maybe next week, dears. But for now…

Where Did Half of the Year Go?

July 2019. It’s July already. Where did half of this year go? Work is picking up and I am diving into a couple of projects. I am going to enjoy this. I just can’t wait for it to be August. The Wasteland Project is going well. Kind got off to a rocky start, but I am making it work. Wish me luck.

I discovered a new podcast this week. It’s called Start with This and they are a writing podcast. They offer really good writing tips to help you get started on your project. At the end, they give you a consummation assignment and a creative assignment. It will be good since One Plus One is on break at the moment.

I am still going down the Marvel Rabbit Hole tonight, I will be watching The Avengers. I will have sixteen more movies to go before I am caught up. I will watch Iron Man 2 on Thursday. I finished season five of Black Mirror yesterday. All but the last episode was good. Charlie Brooker just lost his mind with “Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too”. I can see why they made that one the season finale. My favorite was “Striking Vipers”. Today, I am starting My Husband Won’t Fit.

I think that’s it for now. Meanwhile, you can…

R.I.P. iTunes

That’s right, iTunes is going to the big Mac laptop in the sky. After eighteen years, Apple is getting rid of it and breaking it down into three apps for music, TV, and podcasts. I am concerned with if they will work for my iPod. I will have to see.

I am getting used to driving a Prius. I am learning how to drive one because my car might end up going bye-bye. Right now, the horn died and I can’t drive it until it gets fixed. (Apparently, it is dangerous and illegal to drive around with no horn.) So far, I am getting down the basics. I am still not used to not having to put the car in park when I stop. Other than that, I am handling it well.

I just finished season one of Fresh Meat. It’s entertaining so far. My favorites would have to be Howard and JP. (I kind of want to slap JP but then it again it was just season one. He’ll probably change as the show goes on.) Season five of Black Mirror comes out in two days. I will hold onto that until later this month when I start season eight of the Wasteland Project on the twenty-third. (I’m mad they are taking Durarara x2 off of Netflix.)

I will be finishing Common this month and starting a new series called Taki High. What that will be about, you will have to see. I am wrapping up season eight or nine of Earth Child this week. I think that’s it for now. Meanwhile, you can…

April is Done and Now to Wade Through May

So glad that April finally ended last week. Now, I have to survive May. It isn’t too bad, though. I finally got to see I am Not an Easy Man and Kung Fu Hustle. Both of them are good movies. I am Not an Easy Man was a bit confusing and the ending was rather abrupt. Kung Fu Hustle knows what it is and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Tomorrow, I will start the series, Atlanta.

I plan to finish Dreamland this month. I think I will be doing that next week. Currently, I am working on a mini-series called Night Hawks Files. I already have chapter one posted on Wattpad and Inkitt. I will also go back to City Lounge: New York this week too. Another Ghost Doll fic will be finished this month too, maybe. I will have to see.

I can’t wait for June to get here so that I can start on season eight of my Wasteland Project. I get bored when I am not working on it. The wait is killing me. Here’s what doesn’t kill me…

Can April Just Hurry Up Already?

Still doing Camp Nano. Adulting was complete last week. Did my title drop for season eight of the Wasteland. And it is still April.

<Sigh>

Good news is that I have a news TV and my cable is back. I get to enjoy watching Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube on a bigger screen. So, I am excited for that. I got to watch Terrace House: Opening New Doors on the TV today. I will have fun playing with it. Now, if I can just switch accounts in Hulu…

I don’t have much to say this week. Everything is just chill ATM. I want to play Sims 4 again. Over the past couple of days, I haven’t had the chance. I might try tonight. While I do that…

Yep, March is STILL Busy

This is the last week of March and I still have work to do. I am just about finished with The Month of No Gods and Pleasure Kingdom. The former has six more chapters to go while the latter has one more chapter. I don’t think I am finishing anything else this month.

I feel like I need something new next month. I think I will be watching some new things. I will finally get to see Kung Fu Hustle soon. I have seen the trailers for it back in the day, but I never got to watch it. Never had the access to. Well, Netflix changed all of that. It’s just a matter of when. I don’t even know what I am doing for Camp Nano this year.

Okay, so Earth Child is coming back for another season next month. Flame of Love will end on the second of April. Other than that, you will have to see after Sunday. Oh, there will be the title drop for the new season of the Wasteland Project next month. For now…

It’s That Again!

September and LGBT Scream are finished. We are now into October. I am just going to write some sappy fluff and watch Asian horror films. That’s right, Asian Horror Month is here. I will be watching film movies from the continent of Asia. And then, I will post the reviews on my Facebook page and a couple of Asian horror film groups that I am part of. I will start off with the Ju-On series, like I do every year. (This year, I am skipping the last two because they are garbage.) I have found a handful of movies on Netflix. But, I still need your help.

I need some recommendations for Asian horror films this month. If you have any ideas, comment in the comment section and while you’re at it…

I am Back

I have survived the storm.

I lost power Friday evening. I managed to finish my drafts before the battery in my laptop got too low. Power came back Saturday, but I had no internet. So, I played Sims and wrote to pass the time. The internet finally came back up on Sunday. So, I played catch up with my posting and writing. And now, here I am. I am alive, my home is okay, and my work is done.

I finished The Innocents today. The pacing is good and they didn’t reveal who the bad guys was until the season finale. I wonder what they are going to do for season two next year. Next, I will watch the movie, Threads. And then maybe check out The Conjuring. I will see how I fill. I need some new podcasts though.

Oh and I am resuming City Lounge: Berlin tomorrow. Until then…

Counting Down and Planning

May is coming to an end in a few days. Within two weeks, it will be June. That means new projects are coming. I can’t wait to start on season seven of my Wasteland Project. The Earth Child season finale will be coming up on the seventh. Volume three of City Lounge: Paris will wrap up next month too. But don’t worry, I’ll start volume three of City Lounge: Berlin. Writing isn’t the only thing I am looking forward to either.

I will get to finish the live action version of Erased on Netflix. (I only have two episodes left.) Then, I’m going to watch From This Corner of the World next. Then, it’s off to Hulu to watch some episodes of Moone Boy. Before that, I will be done with season one of Some Girls. So much stuff to watch, including the 2009 movie, Moon.

On top of that, I will vacation in June at some point. Can you believe that we’re about halfway through 2018? Time keeps running away from us. I’m just happy to be getting some stuff done.

Oh and Photobucket freed all of the pictures. They are under new management now. I guess they realized that they screwed up with charged $399 for embedding pictures and now they are trying to woo them back. That leaves me with one thing: Should I just leave all of the pictures on my website I didn’t convert to Imgur or should I keep moving them to Imgur like I have been doing since last year? Either way, I still have to fix the music and other small glitches on my site. Oh boy, it’s going to take me a while. I was insane in my younger years with the posting, but it’s well worth it. While I ponder this dilemma, you can…

Last Day of Camp

I’m on the last story in the collection. I am up to 48,989 words. I will be finished by today. May will bring new projects into the works. I will work on a short story that I will post on the nineteenth. There will be other short stories and the usual annual projects for May.

It will be nice to not have so much to work with. May brings me closer to work on the Wasteland Project again and I get to work on new things in May. I am about to try and get caught up on my Netflix list. Maybe Hulu too. I could have Patient X beta read and try to go back to editing Steel Prison again. So much to do in thirty-one days. Where do I even start? I’ll sort it out. I might even finish some things in May. I will have to see. I do know if I will do camp in July because I don’t know what to write. Oh and we will go back to Paris in the City Lounge in May. Look forward to all of that. For now…
