Presenting… Fall Semester!

Here is the re-post of the release of Fall Semester:

Blurb: On December 19th, 2012, beloved Tokyo University professor David Gabriel and his wife, Ashley were found murdered in their apartment. Shot to death in cold blood. Everyone on campus already knew who did it.

Miho Nakano started out as shy college freshman who fell in love with David, but could never express her feelings to him. When she found that he was married, Miho’s love turned into a deadly obsession.

As the police look for the fugitive student, a timeline of Miho’s decent into murder emerges.

This one was a pain in the ass to be able to re-format it properly in Sigil so that it will go through Draft2Digital. Today, it all up and ready for reading! (Turns out, I have to generate a new table contents for the chapters.) It was a pain, but I finally it! Now, all of the books under the “Noizchild Johnson” name is finished and ready for purchase. All that is left is to re-format the books under the “Canojo Koi” name. Once those are complete, I will try and go back to putting out new content. Until then…

I now have both volumes of Hapless Cupid published. Here they are:

She moves to Tokyo in an attempt to change her life around, but bad luck follows her. Literally. And she’s jaded. Victoria, her bad luck Karma Angel, seems set on ruining her life. Good luck angel Bree, on the other hand, wants to help Tori turn her luck around. It seems to be working when she meets her next door neighbor, Brock Ferguson. Smitten, she’s determined to leave her old life behind. But that’s not easy when the angel on your shoulder is as bad as the luck she brings with her.
Go forth and read!

I finally got this book out after so many months!

I wonder what’s going to be betaed and published? You will have to see!

Almost There…

Okay, I am almost set to publish Fall Semester sometime tomorrow or this week. I have the story edited and the cover is ready. I just need to launch it on Amazon, Kobo, Barnes and Noble, Draft2Digital, and Google.  After that, I don’t what to do.

I have so much to this December like I usually do. My to-do list comprises of Christmas and writing. I might have to look for someone to beta/edit a couple of short stories. However, you might only see some stuff out in January. I will see how I feel.

I still can’t believe that 2015 is almost over. I have made so much progress this year. Now, I have one more month to finish off this successful year. Maybe I will be more aggressive in promotion and editing in 2016.  Maybe get a full-time job. I will be taking my writing career more seriously.

Back On Track!

Did everyone have a good Thanksgiving yesterday? Mine was pretty decent. Dinner was delicious. No Asian food this year, but I made green bean casserole and butter pecan cookies. My grandmother had me use frozen green beans instead of canned. It was good, but the texture felt kind of weird. My cookies were a hit. My mother’s coworkers want some.

Today, I finally got a new phone. I needed one so badly too. (My previous one kept dying on me and it would cut off when I would drop it and the battery would pop out.) I’m just waiting for my case to come in now.

The editing for Fall Semester is going wonderfully. I have gotten through seven chapters already. I plan to work on chapters eight through eleven tomorrow. It looks like it will probably be early December or Sunday to  Monday when Fall Semester will be published. Also, tonight I will finish a fanfic that I had worked on for a long time. I have finished a couple of works this year. I wonder how I will do next year.

Getting Back on Track (Plus Sims 4!!!)

I promise I will get back to work on Fall Semester!

*Exhales*

Okay, I will try to do my best before next Monday. Now what will I do for December? Hmm… I wonder….

Meanwhile, I finally got my Sims 4 game up and function again. (It took about a week to reinstall. The base game took the longest to download. Bleh! Even after all of that, I had to delete my old save files to get it to work. *Sigh* At least it’ll work fine now. Hopefully… *Fingers-crossed*)

New Objective

So my short story, Bloody Days, didn’t make Kindle Singles. However, I don’t want to self-publish it just yet. I want to send my story to literary magazines before I cave in. I think I found something. I will look into them further.

I am still editing Fall Semester. I will have it published by this month. I have no idea what I am going to do for December, though. You’ll have to sit tight and wait for that. (You might get some short stories when I find the right people.)

Plus, I am about finished reading Self-Editing for Fiction Writers by Renni Browne and Dave King. (I have one more chapter left.) I kind of don’t agree with how they say to write a sex scene. I personally don’t like leaving it up to reader’s imagination. Just don’t go overboard to make your reader need to take a bath afterwards. Then again, it’s aimed for general fiction. So, yeah…

That’s good for now.

Three Days Late and Still in Progress

I fell off kilter this week. This was supposed to go up by the usual Monday, but here we are on a Wednesday posting this.

Not much to say really. I’m still editing Fall Semester this month. I’ll be done real soon and have it published. You can bank on that.

I did see a deer leaping across the road on my way to work today. I slowed down just in time. (I have heard the horror stories of hitting deer with cars.) No, this one leapt into the woods on the other side and my car is still fine.

Other than that, I’m got nothing. So, good night folks!

Thinking, but Nothing is Coming

What should I say today?

I am working on a wiki for a fanfic project that I do every year. I just need a secure place to start making the notes for it.
I am still editing Fall Semester. I will work on chapters five and six this week,
I will have to delete some of the custom content I downloaded into my game just so I can get it to stop crashing on me so much.
In 2016, I will be more aggressive with prompting myself and making connections.
My project is about to wrap up because Wiki is skim on the controversy album covers.
I have an idea for a dessert to make for this Thanksgiving. I just need to know what we’re doing this year.
And… I’m out of things to say today.
Bye.

Back to Work Again. (Where did 2015 Go?)

Good evening, everyone.

What am I up to? I just finished editing chapter three of Fall Semester. I expect to have it out published this month. I will start to look for more people to beta a couple more short stories.

I think I freaked out my beta reader on a chapter that I wrote for a fanfic last week. Now that I think about, it was really cool. I think I’m on the right track with this project. I just hope I don’t scare her away from the rest of the season. I should be fine, though. This week chapter I am planning out will be toned down a bit.

Other than this annoying persistent cough that I have, I don’t really have much going on for me. I guess that is it for now.
