Five Years Already?

March 11, 2011, an earthquake and tsunami hit Japan. Shortly after that, the country suffered from a nuclear melt down. It has been a long time, but the country is recovering nicely. I am happy that my favorite country can bounce back from tragedy. I am confident that they will have a strong future for years to come.

I haven’t checked on how Distorted Lullaby is doing. I will promote it again in another group this evening. Bride in Black is edited and waiting to be re-published. I wonder what I will edit next after that. I might finally be able to replace Pinky’s keyboard. (Pinky is my laptop.) I also got hooked onto a new show on HBO called Animals. I don’t know what to think about it, but I have to keep watching to try and figure it out. I’m also getting out my summer clothes this weekend. Yes, I am still job-hunting. -.- But, I will keep trying. For now…

Presenting… The Re-release of “Distorted Lullaby”

I have done it! I finally re-released Distorted Lullaby yesterday. So here is the promotion:

12733424_1723691851178986_6518528037408379490_n[1]

Summary: No one in the small town of Patterson would have foreseen the death of the violent town drunk, Trevor Grey, on Halloween night. When police arrive to investigate his murder, they find his wife, Maureen, sitting far away from Trevor’s body. Obviously, she is the prime suspect in her abusive husband’s murder. The only problem is, she doesn’t remember the events before the police found her. Rookie detective, Gina Torres, takes it upon herself to unlock Maureen’s memories and solve the case. Driven by family pride and tragedy, Gina turned to psychology as a way to help people. She feels that only she can help Maureen silence the “distorted lullaby” in her head and help her stand as a person again.

Two More Days!

I will re-publish Distorted Lullaby about Sunday or Monday. I re-formatted the book through Sigil. I just need to publish the re-formatted book and draw people’s attention to it. For now, here is the cover to Distorted Lullaby again.

This will be the first of many books that will be re-formatted under the Noizchild name. The books under “Canojo Koi” will be next. Sit tight until then.

Death and Republishing

Last week, we had some bad news. This week, I have some good news.

Bad News:

Harper Lee has died on Friday at the age of 89.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/kill-mockingbird-author-harper-lee-dies-89-153858437.html

Two months and we’ve Bowie, Parsons, and now Lee. 2016 looks like it blows for the arts. This also leads me to another thought that I had leading back to her last book, Go Set a Watchman: Do you think the release of Go Set a Watchman was the result of elder abuse?

Good News:

I will re-publish Distorted Lullaby sometime this week or next. I re-formatted the book through Sigil. I just need to publish the re-formatted book and draw people’s attention to it. For now, here is the cover to Distorted Lullaby again.

I also updated my bio for my name, Noizchild Johnson, to look more professional. My bio for Canojo Koi will be edited to look more professional really soon. For now…

Looking Up?

I tried out Sigil last week and I think I like the results. But when shall I post up the book for Distorted Lullaby? Hm… I still need to add a page for my author bio, credits to the book cover designer, and a way to follow my social media pages and the newsletter. I will make myself sit down and do it all. You have my word on it.

I haven’t had any projects to work on from January to February. I won’t really be doing anything for March either. Just writing as usual. However, I have so many ideas that I don’t know where or how to force myself to write them out. Maybe I need a change in scenery. My mom is suggesting that I go out to the library once a week in the summer. Maybe, that will be a great idea. But what will I do until then? *Lays down and starts thinking* Hm… Maybe I will come up with something. Until then…

Where is My Winter Wonderland?

There is no snow (yet). Instead, we have rain that could turn into ice. I’m patient, though. Hopefully, I will wake up to a pretty winter wonderland tomorrow. Still, that doesn’t stop me from working. The wikia for a fanfic project of mine is coming along nicely.

I heard a little rumor about books on Amazon about to be labelled with warning for poor grammar and formatting. This is enough of a motive for me to clean up my work and format it much better. The first one I will start with is Distorted Lullaby. I will read over it again and pick out a formatting program. Then I will re-promote my book to help sell better.

Right now, things are kind of slow. I have become a little more active on Twitter and Reddit. To tell you the truth, I am not a patient person. I hate the waiting so badly. I feel myself dying inside for feedback. However, I am partly to blame for this hang-up. I need to be a little more sociable online. I need to combat my laziness and get my productivity up to eleven.

For now, I will edit a Cardcaptor Sakura fic next week and try to be more socialable on Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit.

I Finally Got Started with a Little Editing

Ah, yes! I have edited the cover page and added a table of contents for Sins of Women. This is the first time that I have done a table of contents for any of my books. I figured that I would try it out. Oh yeah, Distorted Lullaby got another review on another blog site. Here is the link: http://bound4escape.com/2015/07/13/short-story-review-distorted-lullaby-by-noizchild-johnson/ I’m actually okay with what she had to say with it. Maybe, I can send them more books to review. I will have to see. While I’m at it, go check out Distorted Lullaby for yourself. Any Time Now…

I have another editor working on Sins of Women. I will get around to editing the book. Hopefully, I won’t be so lazy and just do it. For some reason, my “d” an “x” keys now won’t exactly type properly. I have to press down hard on them to get them to type out the letter. I’m still trying to fix them, though. It’ll take a while, but I know I can do it. I’ve done it before.

I have about burn through this cycle of my Netflix queue. I only have one reality series, one documentary, and three more movies before the list is empty again. Oh yeah, Distorted Lullaby got another review on another blog site.
