I am a Bit Stuck

I have a bit of a problem. No, I already fixed the Photobucket one. I’m talking about the one for the main site.

I started out at Webs, but then it started to have problems. So, I moved to Neocities. That was great for a while, but it started to conflict with Photobucket in Chrome and Firefox. So, I went back to Webs. That was going fine until my files stopped loading and I couldn’t get the upload function to work. And they haven’t done anything to fix it. I can’t even reach them and they aren’t responding to my various complaints. I’m thinking that it’s time to move back to Neocities or find another server if the problems aren’t sorted. Anyone know of web servers that are free and will let me upload files? I’m open for suggestions. For now…

R.I.P. Pinky

Christmas 2008- February 15th, 2017

That’s right. Pinky has died. My first laptop has decided to stop working. What exactly happened? Was it the hard drive? A virus? Nope. The cmos battery holder came off. I kind of messed with it a year before just to get o the CMOS battery out to change it. I tried to super glue the holder back on and change the CMOS battery, but when I booted it back up the laptop, it said “Time of Clock has stopped”. Yep, it’s dead. I took out the hard drive to get the data off, but I don’t have the chords to connect to the new laptop. Speaking of which, I am using my new laptop (Which I have named Celty) and it is sweet! It has more space and the downloads on iTunes are much faster. Plus, the battery lasts longer than Pinky’s second battery.

It’s funny, Pinky lasted through the whole Obama administration. Oh well. I guess I figure out to fix Pinky one day and the other external hard drive. But for now…

Moving the Web Site

After x-amount of years, I am moving my web site from Webs to a new domain. Webs won’t let me upload html files under a free account anymore. (Which is bull, because I have been up loading files since I first signed up on Webs.com. I call bullshit on that.)  Plus, Webs have been have a number of problems lately. Everyone is constantly complaining on their Facebook page. I figured after I couldn’t save changes on the pages I already uploaded because of an anti-spam code, I knew it was time to go.

After a little searching, I found a new home with Neocities.org. I signed up and now I am uploading the main site day by day. It’s going to take a while since I have some many files to put up. I will let you all know when I have finished fixing everything. But for now…

God Save the Queen, the UK Screwed Up

Yes, the people voted to leave the EU yesterday. Yeah, Britain is screwed. The stock market took a nasty blow. Now, things are a mess for my other favorite country. Scotland and London wanted to stay. Now, Scotland might try to leave the UK again. It’s a crazy time now, my friends. However, it’s parliament that has the final say with the Brexit. Even that’s not good because they are in a mess too. It’s just really hectic and people in the UK are looking up what happens now.

Affirmative Action is here to stay. It looks Abby will have to stay mad and study like the rest of the human race. #StaymadAbby. #Beckywiththegoodgrades.

My new battery for Pinky came in today. Maybe still will stop my overheating problems. Love Addict will be re-published soon. Just hang in there. For now…

I Love Sims II

I love the Sims games. I have played them since the first one. This past update with the gender neutrality gave me some ideas. Here is what happened….

*Clears her throat*

Breaking News: Mortimer Goth is now Shelia and has divorced Bella and moved out of the house. Now, he lives with a new man.

What’s going to happen next? I think I will have Alexander gay. Bella’s going to be a cougar. (As suggested by someone in a Sim Group that I’m on in Facebook.) Oooo, even have her steal some of her son’s boyfriends. Oh! This is going to be fun. For now…

Five Years Already?

March 11, 2011, an earthquake and tsunami hit Japan. Shortly after that, the country suffered from a nuclear melt down. It has been a long time, but the country is recovering nicely. I am happy that my favorite country can bounce back from tragedy. I am confident that they will have a strong future for years to come.

I haven’t checked on how Distorted Lullaby is doing. I will promote it again in another group this evening. Bride in Black is edited and waiting to be re-published. I wonder what I will edit next after that. I might finally be able to replace Pinky’s keyboard. (Pinky is my laptop.) I also got hooked onto a new show on HBO called Animals. I don’t know what to think about it, but I have to keep watching to try and figure it out. I’m also getting out my summer clothes this weekend. Yes, I am still job-hunting. -.- But, I will keep trying. For now…

I am Starting to Make a Little Progress

Last night, I edited chapter nine to my Cardcaptor Sakura fanfic and posted it on Fanfiction.net. I only have three more chapters to go. Next, I will edit my Wasteland 2011 project. I might be able to get caught up/finished with some of my fanfics before spring and start editing and reformatting my e-books.

There are still some other things I need to do, however. I still need to find a full-time job, get a developmental editor, and promote myself more. There are how many days left in January? Also, my earbuds finally broke. Currently, I am using an old spare pair, but the sound quality is really off in that set. Now I have to buy a new pair as soon I get my money for cleaning aunt’s house this week. Technology can be so annoying at times.

I’ve had Muse on the brain lately and I don’t know why. I mean, they are alright and the page on them on TV Tropes make them seem more interesting. The band does have some songs I do like and I am using their music for a story that I started today. I don’t know what to tell you. I just wish that I had my snow this year. I want to wake up to a pretty white wonderland, damn it! Grrr! *Calms down and clears her throat*

Anyway, that’s it for now.

Back On Track!

Did everyone have a good Thanksgiving yesterday? Mine was pretty decent. Dinner was delicious. No Asian food this year, but I made green bean casserole and butter pecan cookies. My grandmother had me use frozen green beans instead of canned. It was good, but the texture felt kind of weird. My cookies were a hit. My mother’s coworkers want some.

Today, I finally got a new phone. I needed one so badly too. (My previous one kept dying on me and it would cut off when I would drop it and the battery would pop out.) I’m just waiting for my case to come in now.

The editing for Fall Semester is going wonderfully. I have gotten through seven chapters already. I plan to work on chapters eight through eleven tomorrow. It looks like it will probably be early December or Sunday to  Monday when Fall Semester will be published. Also, tonight I will finish a fanfic that I had worked on for a long time. I have finished a couple of works this year. I wonder how I will do next year.

Getting Back on Track (Plus Sims 4!!!)

I promise I will get back to work on Fall Semester!

I promise I will get back to work on Fall Semester!

*Exhales*

Okay, I will try to do my best before next Monday. Now what will I do for December? Hmm… I wonder….

Meanwhile, I finally got my Sims 4 game up and function again. (It took about a week to reinstall. The base game took the longest to download. Bleh! Even after all of that, I had to delete my old save files to get it to work. *Sigh* At least it’ll work fine now. Hopefully… *Fingers-crossed*)

Sims! Glorious Sims! (Plus Win 10.)

I love my Sims 4 game! Ever since I installed the expansion packs and reinstalled the game, I became hooked again. I want to play more right now. I’m trying to save up a little bit on Amazon to get the other three (soon to be four) packs to turn my game play up to eleven! I also have a good story line going on with my plans to turn my world into a swing town. Right now, I’m going to give my main Sim family a rest so that I can add a couple more neighbors. (I’m fixing the game a little bit because a minor glitch that happened today.)

Speaking of Sims, I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Win 10 two days ago. It looks really nice and it all goes a little bit faster now. Though, I did hear of a little glitch on the news. I will fix it later when I remember the exact details.

Next month, I will have volume one of Hapless Cupid published. I already have planned when volumes two and three will be coming. Two will be in October and three will be in January 2016. I will also get off of my lazy ass and work on Sins of Women have it published next month tops. Sit tight everyone.
