What Do I Want to Say?

Work’s been good.

I’ve had a productive weekend because of it.

I’ve been burning through many podcasts.

I just changed my 365 subscription for a cheaper version.

I am done with this week’s chapter of Suburban Island.

I can’t wait to post chapter three of Mad World.

I don’t have much to say tonight.

I am just waiting for March to be over,

And then I can go onto new projects

And wrap up Suburban Island.

And make announcements for the seventh season of the Wasteland Project.

<Sigh>

But for now…

Happy 2018 Everyone!

Welcome to 2018, my darlings! May this year be better than the last one.

Good news, chapter three of Steel Prison has been edited! I am hoping for snow this week. I was told that I was going to get some this week. My first day into the new year’s been pretty good. Got some writing done. Work’s been picking and I did some jobs on the first day. I will do more jobs tomorrow. I will get paid next week too.

What shall we be looking forward to? Well, I will try to get in editing of chapter four of Steel Prison. I still intend on getting that published some time this year. Not just for the ebook either, I intend to do hardcover and maybe send it to a publisher. I will still be fixing  my site to get rid of the Photobucket pictures. Some things will be finished. I am going to start new project to tide me over for waiting to start the next season of my Wasteland Project. (The waiting is going to suck like always.) I will work on a one-shot Durarara omake to go with the Wonderland series. I might do another one shot pilot for the Wasteland Project. For now on that one, I just have bits and pieces. I will try to get a full-time job while I’m at it.

That is so much to promise in one day, but it is doable for me. Also, these aren’t New Year’s Resolutions. I never make those. But, I am determined to make this year better than last year. Wish me luck. While you’re at it…

It’s Coming!

It’s almost here!

I have edited and formatted volume one of Dreamland. I even made the cover for it. I am thinking about trying a new strategy. I think I will make the first volume free after I get more books out. I plan to this will the first two books. Speaking of which, volume one will be out  on the twenty-ninth. I don’t know what I going to publish next. (It actually feels good to be publishing something again.)

I don’t really have much to say tonight. I’m just announcing my book. My job is going great and I just got paid this evening. Things have been a bit slow, though. I hope things will pick up this week and this month. Anyway, stick around for Dreamland‘s debut. For now…

Got the Feedback Back, Just Need to Get Started On the Editing

I got the feedback for volume one of Dreamland back this morning. I just need find the time to make the edits. Then, I need to learn how to convert a Word document into a html page for Sigil for formatting. I think I have the cover picture saved on a flash drive. I would have to look through it once I get the “hard” work out of the way. I’m thinking that volume one will up and available for purchase in October. Yes, October sounds perfect.

Also coming back next morning, City Lounge! That’s right, I will be resuming the book in this blog and finishing out the first Paris section of it. However, I won’t be finished with the novel. Wonder what Will and Simone get up to when the next month comes up… Let’s just say there are some little secrets and mysteries surrounding Ms. Simone as the Paris book unfolds…

Work is going great for me. I keep challenging myself each month. This October, I have a huge goal in mind. Let’s see how I manage to pull it off.

Sit tight and wait for Dreamland and City Lounge in about a week or so. Until then…

Welcome 2016!

Welcome to the first day of 2016, friends! I have two main goals for myself this year:

  • Get a professional editor
  • Promote myself more
I also need a new job– full time to be frank. I believe that 2016 will be the year that I get serious here. Tomorrow, I will check out two web sites of editors that I came across and look for a job. I have grown tired of getting nowhere. Turn my writing quality up to eleven. Maybe be a little more social on social media. Hopefully, 2016 will be the year I will expand and conquer.
I’ve got nothing else at the moment. Have a good 2016.

Happy Holidays 2015!

Merry Christmas everyone! Did you guys get nice gifts? I got a nice few myself this year. I got myself some jewelry, sweets, and Victoria’s Secret. (Yeah, I am spoiled like that.)

Anyway, six more days until 2015 is over. I can’t believe it myself. There is still so much for me to do. What exactly can I squeeze in for the next six days? I’m sure that I can make it work.

I think I have done a good job with converting this blog from a fun one to a professional for the pen name, Noizchild Johnson. Okay, so it does need a little work, but I can pull it off. For 2016, I will get a professional editor and promote myself more often. Those are my two main goals. (That and getting myself a full-time job to help finance the first two goals and move out.)

Since this will be the last Friday of 2015, I wish you all a happy 2016!
