Just a Little Reminder…

I started LGBT Scream on Saturday. I showcase LGBT-related works each day for thirty days. I hotlink it to a date on a cell in a table that looks like the month of September on a calendar. There are seven themes that correspond with the colors of the rainbow:
Red= Yuri (18+ femslash)
Orange= Yaoi (18+ slash)
Yellow= Bisexual (18+)
Green= Bisexual (SFW)
Blue= Shounen-ai (SFW)
Indigo= Transgender
Violet= Shoujo-ai (SFW)

Submissions are really simple, just e-mail me a link to your work with the information about the piece and I will link it to the calendar at noizchild@yahoo.com. The page looks like this: https://noizchild.neocities.org/LGBTScream.html

Please follow this blog by clicking the “follow” button on the side bar. Tell two people and maybe they in turn will tell two more people and so on and so forth.

Five Things You Don’t Know About Izzie Peterson

There are many characters in the City Lounge series. Quite a few have something interesting traits and stories to tell. Let us meet one of them today. Here are five things you don’t know about Izzie Peterson. I will try my best not to give away anything that hasn’t been written yet.

  1. She kind of isn’t really on good terms with some of her family due to her sexuality and her polyamorous lifestyle. Same goes with most of the people in her life.
  2. Izzie has three ex-girlfriends and two ex-boyfriends.
  3. Izzie is the only bi and polyamorous character in the only City Lounge project.
  4. She has never cheated on any of her lovers. Izzie will be upfront about who she’s attracted to with whoever she’s dating.
  5. Izzie has been writing since she was fourteen.

I might do more fun facts for the City Lounge characters in the future, until then…

City Lounge: New York (Book Two, Chapter Fifteen: Izzie and Sabrina)

Chapter Fifteen: Izzie and Sabrina:

There are times when Izzie thinks about her and doesn’t want to. There used to be love there.

-Six Years Ago-

They met while Izzie was in community college. She was starting to embrace polyamory. She knew that she was attracted to men and women for a long time now. Initially, Izzie wasn’t looking for a date. She only attended Anime club, Japanese Culture Club, and Film Club outside of her classes. The soon-to-be author didn’t socialize much. It took her fellow club members to drag her out to a party one night. Izzie raised her eyebrow at them. More

-Upper East Side-

Maggie, Naomi, Shasha, Liz, Shane, Kate, Elle, Carmen, Hayley, Jane, and Lily sat in Kate’s living room.

“When are Izzie and Dianne coming?” Jane asked.

“About thirty minutes or so,” Kate said.

“Tell me again,” Lily said. “Who is Izzie dating again– Kris or Dianne?”

“Both of them,” Kate said. The older woman gave her an odd look.

“What?” she asked.

“Yeah,” Elle said. “She’s polyamorous.” Lily raised her eyebrow.

“How does that even work?” she asked.

“She just dates them both, I guess,” Liz said. Her tone didn’t sound so certain. All of the women looked at each other. Jane had the same confused expression on her face. More

City Lounge: New York (Book Two, Chapter Thirteen: Izzie’s Future)

Chapter Thirteen: Izzie’s Future:

-Soho, Manhattan-

Kris looked up at Izzie on her laptop. “Have you thought about what you want for your future?”

Izzie didn’t look up from her screen. “Sometimes.”

“What do you plan to do when your writing career is over?”

“It won’t be over.”

“How can you be so sure about that?”

“It’s all that I can do.” Izzie glanced over at Kris as he sat on her futon. He had his arms behind his head. She raised her eyebrow.

“What about you?” Izzie asked.

“Become officer,” Kris said. “Retire at an old age, get married, and have children.”

“Have children?” she asked. Her boyfriend shrugged and nodded. More

City Lounge: New York (Book Two, Chapter Twelve: Summer in the Bronx)

Chapter Twelve: Summer in the Bronx:

Carmen stuffed her iPod into her jeans pocket. The weather sound that it would be another hot day in the Bronx. How many days was that now? Three? Four? Five? She was surprised that the whole block wasn’t on fire by now. Whatever. Carmen put her earbuds into her ears and headed out the door.

“I’ll be back soon!” she shouted.

“Okay!” her mother said from the kitchen. Carmen pulled out her iPod and hit play. Where did she feel like going today? The neighborhood looked the same as it did yesterday. Carmen decided to go right.

“Heading out today?” a old woman in her lawnchair on the sidewalk asked. The DJ took out her earbud. More

City Lounge: New York (Book Two, Chapter Eleven: Party Night Out)

Chapter Eleven: Party Night Out:

Friday night.

Maggie and Naomi sat at the bar at a nightclub.

“Why am I out with you again?” Maggie asked. Naomi turned to her grinning.

“Why else?” she asked. “You need to get out more. How else are you ever getting laid?” Her friend narrowed her eyes at her.

“I don’t need your help,” she growled.

“Excuse me?” Naomi asked.

“Nothing,” Maggie lied. They looked out at the people dancing on the dancefloor. New York on a Friday night was the best. Saturday night sat right next to it. The women watched the brightly-colored lights flashing around them. Naomi leaned over on the bar. More

City Lounge: New York (Book Two, Chapter Ten: Izzie’s Mental Game)

Chapter Ten: Izzie’s Mental Game:

Izzie raised her eyebrow at Neil.

“So, talk to me,” she said. “Who exactly are you?” The butch woman lowered her eyes.

“Uh, I like bikes,” she said.

“Do you?”

“Yeah.”

“What kind?” Izzie leaned in with her eyes fixed on her target. She had only heard the stories of Neil from Hayley. The way she talked, this butch lesbian sounded like Michael Myers. But from she saw, Neil looked like a shy little bunny rabbit aching to run away.

“Harley-Davidson.”

“Ah. Suits you well.”

“Uh… Thanks.”

Izzie tilted her head. “You don’t talk much, do you?” Neil looked away, blushing. Izzie sat back with her arms behind her head. More
