The 3-0 is Coming for Me and I Don’t Know What to Do for Saturday

That’s right, folks. In six days, I will says goodbye to my 20’s. I don’t know what I’m doing Saturday. I want to spend the day with my mom and cake. Other than that, I don’t know what I’m doing this year. I wanted to go to Richmond, but that looks like a no-go.

I have new job now. I write articles for a women’s online magazine. I have been writing an article a day. I have an idea of what I’m doing tomorrow. My favorite so far was talking about female superheroes.

Is it bad that I want February to be over now? I am getting bored with this month. I can’t wait for March to come so that I can get onto newer projects. I will probably wrap up some things while I am at it. Suburban Island is going on nicely. I will wrap it up in April. Then, I will have present a one-shot story set in England in May to get into the Wasteland Project. Speaking of April, I will make an announcement about season seven on the main stories. But first, I have to get through the rest of February. On a happier note, I am going to see Black Panther tomorrow. I might do a review for it the next day. Oh, why is April so far away? For now…

Building Up Professional Connections

So, I decided to branch out a little bit. I dusted off my Linkedin profile and started a Google+ account. The reason is that I need more of stronger income. More money means that I can do more things to promote myself. I could get a professional editor, book cover designer, and make publish some physical copies of the books.

I created my Google+ account to attach to my profile at my job. I updated my Linkedin profile to try and get a new job. Both of which need some new connections. You can find me on Google+ here and Linkedin here. I look forward to hearing from you. While you do that…

I am Done with Webs.com!

That’s it. Webs have screwed up big time! They already messed when legacy file manager was not a priority anymore. You have to upgrade to use html code in site builder. I tried to use the older html editor, but it won’t show the results on the website anymore. Webs won’t let me downgrade either. I finally gave up and moved back to Neocities. Photobucket i s no longer a problem with them anymore. I have moved the main site to Neocities and I am liking it. I still have to edit everything and make it right. That’s going to take me a while, but I can do it.

I feel that 2018 will get better for me. I already have chapter two of Steel Prison edited. I can’t wait to get started on chapter three. City Lounge will be back again soon. I will be wrapping up New York and heading back to Paris for a third season. I have some many plans for the new year. I can’t wait to deliver on it. Merry Christmas and see you all in the new year. For now…

Christmas Will be Coming

Both Christmas trees are up. (My grandmother’s and mine.) I will go Christmas shopping tomorrow. (A big part of it, anyway.) I still have a huge load to work on. My Netflix list is shrinking again. I will be done with this series called Dad of Light  by Thursday. I might finish another one before 2017 is over.

Speaking of which, I will try to get onto editing Steel Prison over the holidays. I am just about done with chapter two last time I checked. I am so close, but yet so far away. I am aiming to have Steel Prison published by next year. I have gotten back into playing Sims again. I missed this game so much. It feels so good to be playing again.

I am still waiting for 2017 to be over so that I can start having a better year in 2018. While I do that, you can…

New Book Publishing in the Works

Good news, everyone!

Sometime in June and July, I will be publishing a book that I have been sitting on for years. The title will be called Steel Prison. I have been it through Nano and the now-defunct Autonomy. I will have it beta read to get it polished up one more time. (It’s been edited a good number of times. I forgot how many.) There was a cover for it on Autonomy, but I think I lost that one. I made a cover during my college years for like a hard cover copy for a digital photo editing class, but it’s the wrong image format. Speaking of hard covers, this might be my first book that I will have made into a hard copy along with ebook. I will see if that turns and if it is possible.

Stick around and see everything unfold, until then…

So Close to Thirty, but So Far Away

Yes, that is right. I am one more year closer to the big 3-0. It doesn’t feel like it yet though. Still, I can’t wait to see how Friday will go for me. I can’t wait, to be honest with you.

I have no big projects planned for next month. I’m just going to keep writing as usual. I do plan to finish a story or two next month. My Netflix queue is shrinking again. I’m not down to six items. I have made some really good progress in that department this month.

It’s kind of hard to write something here when I’m not posting the City Lounge Project. (I’m resuming the New York section this Thursday.) Speaking of which, book one of the project will be finished by April. Then, it will cycle back to Paris for book two. Hm… Maybe I should post showcases of my fanfics to fill the non-posting in between. If I do that, I will have to tact on another day in the week for posting. For now, I will focus on adding more to New York in the project. Stick around for volume two of Dreamland in April. Until then…

A Brief Announcement

I would like to take this time to make a brief announcement to you beautiful people:

I am looking to publish volume two of Dreamland somewhere between March and April. It might be before or after I go on vacation. I will have to see how my schedule looks before I send it off to the beta reader. Meanwhile, I am still moving my site. I have taken to fixing some of the music on some of the sections. I’m shocked that sixteen years could total up to so many pages. Tomorrow, I will be posting some things as gifts as Valentine’s Day.

Meanwhile in my little life, I have been burning through my Netflix queue. I’m down to about nine to ten items left on the list. I kind of wish the American Netflix had more anime and Japanese movies and TV shows. They used have A LOT of Japanese movies, but most of them disappeared. <sigh> It’s a shame, really. Maybe when they faze out their DVD section maybe we’ll see a bigger selection in the American Netflix.

Also, my car is currently being served. (Yippy, not!) I’m waiting for Toyota call back and that it’s ready. It’s not like I really need it right away, though. (I work from home as freelance writer.) Still, I would like to have my car. I need to put gas in it too.

Anyway, be on the look for volume two of Dreamland. Until then…

Moving the Web Site

After x-amount of years, I am moving my web site from Webs to a new domain. Webs won’t let me upload html files under a free account anymore. (Which is bull, because I have been up loading files since I first signed up on Webs.com. I call bullshit on that.)  Plus, Webs have been have a number of problems lately. Everyone is constantly complaining on their Facebook page. I figured after I couldn’t save changes on the pages I already uploaded because of an anti-spam code, I knew it was time to go.

After a little searching, I found a new home with Neocities.org. I signed up and now I am uploading the main site day by day. It’s going to take a while since I have some many files to put up. I will let you all know when I have finished fixing everything. But for now…

Welcome to 2017!

Here we are into the new year. What shall we look forward to in 2017?  Well, there are the usual projects to look forward to. In fact, I will add a new chapter to the City Lounge: London book this week. I am working on an update to Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire”. I keep finding more news events to put down on the list. Once I get enough events, I need to figure it out to back it together. I have about six more years to fill up before I can to do that.

I want to focus on writing more smut. I already have two short pieces being looked at on a writer’s board. For now, I will wait for feedback and try not to be lazy this time. Plus, I want to write new material. It’s burning inside of me, but I have to get it out. I need a way to get it out! I will have to see and try not to be lazy at the same time. Wish me luck. I know I can do it. Hopefully, new creativity, ideas, and inspiration will crop up and move to write better than I did last year. For now…

Last Post of 2016 (Sort Of)

Well, the year is coming to an end.

Most people said that this year sucked, but it wasn’t too bad for me. I actually got a job and I still have it. I’m actually making money. (I still need to make more, but I can do it.) I kind need something new. I don’t really know what I am doing in 2017. In fact, I don’t know what’s going to happen in 2017.

Why is this sort of the lost post of 2016?

Because next week, I will begin the London part of my City Lounge project. I’m actually having fun with writing this project in this blog. There will be one more city to write about after I finish book one of London. I have so many ideas for that last city. But first, I have to go through London. Stick around for that next Monday. For now…
