Controversial Album Covers V (Pt. 24)

I just ran a check and it looks like I’ll actually be done time this year. That’s impressive given my track records with dealing this display. Anyway, onto today’s post.

Year: 2001

Puddle of Mudd: Come Clean

The Problem: The cover features a black and white picture of vocalist Wes Scantlin’s son, Jordon, with his pants down and with his crack showing. Retailers such as, Kmart & Walmart were highly offended and refused to stock Come Clean in their stores. Despite the controversy, no alternate cover has existed

My Take: The kid’s just taking a leak; there’s nothing sexual about this cover. Kmart and Wal-Hell need to lighten up. At least this cover isn’t like Scorpions’ Virgin Killer.
