Controversial Album Covers V (Pt. 10)

Year: 1985

Exodus: Bond by Blood

The Problem: The original artwork features an illustration of good and evil conjoined twin infants, who are both naked. The Combat Records reissue from 1989 depicts the band logo on a red and black image of a crowd, while subsequent reissues feature the original artwork. Exodus would see controversy again for their next album, Pleasures of the Flesh(see the others section for details).

My Take: You can’t really see much because of the sheet covering the genitals. Aren’t babies born naked, anyway? I do like the concept of the art though.
